BLOOMFIELD WINTER FUTSAL LEAGUE

1st- 6th Grade Boys& Girls 


Dates: SUNDAYS Jan 12, 19, 26  Feb 2, 9
Games will be scheduled between 1pm and 4pm
Location: Cross of Christ Lutheran Church Gymnasium (1100 Lone Pine Rd.)

Bloomfield Soccer is excited to now offer its own Futsal League!  Futsal is an exciting, fast paced small sided soccer game that is played on an indoor gym floor type surface, with a slightly smaller sized, heavier weighted ball, to promote the technical development of foot skills and quick play. 

Games are played with 5v5 players (4 field players plus 1 Goalkeeper for each team) and will consist of two 20 min halves with a 3 min halftime. The league is open to not only Bloomfield Rec participants, but any 1st- 6th grade boy or girl player residing in or attending school in Bloomfield.  

Roster sizes: Minimum of 6 players Maximum of 9    

Coaches are NOT required.  All that is needed is a team coordinator! 
Responsibilities will be:
- register the team online and email rostered players your team code provided at time of registration.
- Be present or arranging for another parent representative to be on the sidelines of games.

The league will provide referees as well as court supervisors to help with keeping score, managing substitutions, and organizing players on the court in positions during games, and help players understand the rules of play throughout the games.

Divisions may be combined depending on the number of teams registered (i.e. 1st & 2nd girls, or 1st grade boys and girls, etc.) 


HOW TO REGISTER A TEAM?
1. Organize a group of 6 to 9 players from the same age group & gender
What you will need to register:
- Team Name
- Email address for each player
2. Team Coordinator can Login to account through our website and select the child whose team they would like to register,  then add the Winter Futsal League Registration to your cart, proceed to check out and follow registration steps. (As team coordinator, it will direct you to the volunteer page to answer a few additional questions)
3. Once your registration is complete you will receive an email with a Team Code and also access to a Team Page in which you can enter email addresses and send an invite to the players planning to play on your team.
4. Parents will receive an email and then be able to login to their own individual account to register their child, using the Team Code provided and pay the $45 per player league fee.
*Anyone who registers using your team code will automatically be placed on your Roster for the tournament.

If you choose NOT to send an email invite, you can just provide the TEAM CODE and team name to players and they will still be able to complete the registration and be assigned to your team.

*All players MUST pay online and
 appear on your roster prior to registration deadline (JAN 6) in order to participate.
